The city of Loveland uses a multi-faceted approach to job creation, business retention and attraction. This effort leverages the city’s resources with those of our economic development partners in Loveland, Larimer County and the state of Colorado. The city provides business assistance services for small business owners and entrepreneurs at the Loveland Center for Business Development, located in downtown Loveland. The northern Colorado area offers specialized support for high tech start-up companies through its partnership with the Rocky Mountian Innosphere located in Fort. Collins. In 2011, the city opened the office of the Office of Creative Sector Development to provide a one stop shop of business services for creative sector employers. The city partners with the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation (NCEDC), Colorado State University and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade to provide business retention, expansion and attraction resources.
